With a certainty that only comes with youth, Odessa-born Sergio (Sergey) is seemingly unimpressed by his own incredibly charming beauty. Instantly at home in front of the camera, Sergio’s nonchalant, uncomplicated but totally captivating handsomeness is straight up soigne. A former equilibrist who worked in a circus, this talented teen has the ability to easily shrug off any suggestion of ego and totally involve himself in the task at hand — a level of professionalism that has already won him many fans. Currently balancing on his hands, his studies, and his bookings, soon-to-be full time Sergio certainly isn’t clowning around.
Hercules and Diomedes: The Eighth Labor
This statue comissioned by Cosimo I de Medici—located next to the Genius of Victory by Michelangelo and Florence triumphant over Pisa by Giambologna—belongs to a series of statues representing The Labors of Hercules. Since 1592, these statues have been located in the Salone dei Cinquecento, in Florence.
The sculpture depicted the two heroes of Greek mythology—both stark naked—locked in a wrestling match. Hercules was holding Diomedes upside down, preparing to throw him, while Diomedes was tightly gripping Hercules’ penis, as if to say, “Are you sure you want to throw me?”
